My story

Meet Ronald! Ronald is a senior Poodle looking for a loving retirement home after what appears to be a rough past. When Ronald arrived of FCDACS he had several inches of extremely matted hair, some of which was moldy, bruising his skin, and even cutting circulation off to his paws. Ronald was a shell of a dog, spending his time curled up in a ball in the corner of his kennel. Since being groomed and vetted Ronald has clearly been given a new lease on life, and feels like an entirely new dog! Ronald is a spunky boy with lots to say, and would love to spend his golden years with someone who can appreciate his quirky personality. He will welcome himself right up into your lap for some pets, and will let you know when its time to go. Ronald's dental health was not the best when he got here, and he has since been left with only a few teeth (and lots of gums!) after a cleaning, but he is on the mend and doesn't mind the yummy wet food. Being a Poodle, Ronald will require routine grooming. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Ronald home. If you are interested in meeting Ronald, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Primary Color: Gold Weight: 11 Age: 10yrs 0mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ronald, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
