With his wolf-like features, expressive eyes, and graceful build, Colt may catch your eye right away—but it’s his quiet, sweet nature that will truly win your heart.Shy in new situations and slow to warm up, Colt is looking for a calm and patient home where he can take his time getting comfortable. Once he feels safe, his loving and loyal personality begins to shine. He enjoys quiet companionship, gentle affection, and building bonds at his own pace.Colt would do best in a peaceful environment where routines are consistent and people understand the needs of a shy dog. He gets along with other respectful dogs and may benefit from a confident canine companion to help him feel more secure as he continues to come out of his shell.If you`re someone who finds joy in helping a quiet soul blossom, Colt is ready to begin that journey with you—one step at a time.**Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
