My story

Meet Roman – The Loyal Gentle Giant Roman is a two-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as his sturdy 80-pound frame. This handsome boy is the definition of a gentle giant—calm, affectionate, and deeply loyal to his people. Roman is happiest when he’s close to his family and will gently nudge his way into your heart (and maybe your lap, if you let him!). Fully housetrained and well-mannered, Roman thrives in a home where he can be part of the daily rhythm of life. He’s known to hop over low fences—not to run off, but simply to reunite with his people. His strong bond with humans means he’s best suited for a home where someone is around often or where he can stay close without barriers between him and his loved ones. Roman is dog-friendly and does wonderfully on a leash, making him a fantastic walking buddy. He also loads easily into the car and rides like a pro, making adventures a breeze. Whether it’s a quiet evening at home or a peaceful walk in the park, Roman is up for it as long as he’s by your side. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Roman is ready to find his forever family. He can be transported to approved adopters in the Northeast or Pacific Northwest.
