My story

A bashful young dog needs a loving family to help him blossom! We don’t know much about his past but we do know theres a little light in there ready to shine so bright.  As part of a large group of dogs surrendered to the southern shelter we work with, Mushu is one of the lucky ones to have the chance to live. The shelter aged him to be about two years old, but we think he’s younger and maybe closer to one.  This little guy is the perfect size at just around 20 pounds and most likely full grown.  Mushu may come across as timid at first, but once he trusts, he cannot say no to human affection. He loves being pet, walking alongside his foster mom outside, and even participated in his first snuggle session. He likely has never had the opportunity for any of these things and we are really happy to see the progress he has made, and how he appreciates being a loved companion. “This little guy has been a delight to foster. He is crate trained, consistently goes to the bathroom outside, and is easily pleased with a bone to chew on. Sometimes I even forget he’s here!” his foster mom shares.
