My story

Lady Mae’s story is heartbreaking. Her puppies were taken from her when they were only 3 weeks old. She was abandoned… left to survive on her own. It was tough — and at first, she struggled. Who wouldn’t? But with patience, love, and care from devoted volunteers and compassionate animal control officers, Lady Mae is learning to trust again. And every day, she shines a little brighter. She’s around 1–2 years old, weighs about 40 pounds, and has the gentlest soul. Dog-friendly, affectionate, and full of kisses and cuddles — she’s got so much love to give. She just needs someone to give her a chance. Lady Mae is ready for a family. A home. A soft bed. A place to call her own.
