**$285 in pledges to any rescue that may pull!** Gracey Mae ACCT-A-222956 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to medical concerns. Gracey Mae must have confirmed placement with an RESCUE PARTNER or FOSTER by Wednesday, June 25th at 10 A.M. Should Gracey Mae's medical or behavioral status change, her urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Gracey Mae is a social, affectionate calico who came to ACCT as a stray when a member of the public noticed that she was having trouble eating. Gracey Mae had a microchip, but unfortunately none of the information leads to an owner. Gracey Mae has severe periodontal disease, and either requires placement with a rescue that can remove the teeth giving her issues, or a foster that can coordinate offsite surgery. Medical notes, 6/17 "Eyes, ears WNL Mouth - severe periodontal disease w/ several missing teeth, MM pink Skin, LN WNL Heart, lungs auscultate WNL Abdomen - soft, non-painful Good body condition" In her kennel, Gracey Mae will run to the kennel doors, and will refuse to hold still for any pictures and video. When offered pets, Gracey will roll her entire body into your hand. She does, reportedly have a limit on the kitty minutes that she will allow exam handling, but then again, she is a calico. Gracey Mae is already not letting the condition of her teeth impact her spunky attitude, so we know that once her problem teeth are no more, she'll be able to really let her personality shine.
