My story

Brindle is not just this sweet dog’s name – it also describes her beautiful coat! Brindle was brought to ACCT by a kind neighbor who stated she was left behind in an apartment. The finder described her as ‘friendly, shy and quiet’. In her time at ACCT, volunteers have enjoyed her company. She has been noted to walk well on a leash and enjoy getting pets and treats. So far, Brindle seems like a pretty easy-going dog who enjoys the simple things in life- some exercise and time outside, some love and good food. If Brindle sounds like a good match, come meet her today at ACCT. The shelter is open 10am – 6pm every day. Behavioral Notes Volunteer noted 6/25/25: I fell in love with brindles cute short little ears. She is an absolute doll who walks beautifully on the leash. She takes treats very gently and allowed pets all over. I gave her a big bone after our walk which she was enjoying very much in her kennel. I did notice that when I was walking another dog past her crate, when the other dog was just briefly sniffing, she did growl a tiny bit while eating her bone so she might have a bit of ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
