My story

My foster writes: Monsoon is a sweet black angel! She is shy, and def need time to warm up herself. I was told she may not had human socialization before. So I was expected it may takes a while but she made great progress. Now, Monsoon is much more comfortable around with us and seems to enjoy her new life. She no longer hides, I see her in my room all the time, and she just relaxes. She is beautiful, smart, playful lady cat. She loves to play with me or by herself (with ball, rolled spring, short stick...etc) seems anything would be interesting to her, likes chasing each other with her new friend (my cat). She loves snuggling, being pet. (But she can't stay still yet lol) she has started coming to my bed often and bumping her head on me or just chilling by me. She loves to eat. She cleans her bowl super clean! But eats too fast. I recommend using a slow feeder for her. The smart part, she learned fast and figured out the puzzle feeder right away which my cat gave up on...it surprised me!! She has cute kitten or bird like voice!! Very unique. She is tiny, (compared to my cat)She has cute white pendant, tiny tiny pieces, and other white spots on her stomach (I haven't figure out shape yet) and white sparkling hair on her black coat. She has a cute ballerina-like standing position..She is just pretty lady cat!!She will be suitable with someone who is patient, able to give her space and lets her take her time to warm up...Monsoon is an adult cat that may not have had many interactions with humans from an early age. She is apprehensive of people and while showing no aggressive behaviors, she appears wary of human contact. It is difficult to predict if she will respond to socialization but we recommend offering high value treats and food to help build a positive association to humans. Please be mindful that older cats will require more time and skill in order for them to be comfortable around people. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home. Primary Color: Black Weight: 6.8125 Age: 2yrs 2mths 3wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Monsoon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
