Meet Spork ACCT-A-222838! Spork is a 4-year-old male who was brought in by animal protection officers as a stray on 6/13. He's got the adorable big Tom-head, and the sweetest eyes. Spork has quite the presence - tall, long and lean. When a staff member held him for his photo-op, Spork just snuggled right in to his arms. Medical Notes: Per an exam on 6/22: “Cursory evaluation assessing response to treatment for sarcoptic mange: -QAR, responsive. Lenses clear OU, protrusion of third eyelid OU, serous ocular discharge. Slight serous nasal discharge, upper respiratory congestion. Intact male. Appearance of skin in regards to crusting, erythema, and lichenification are improved, but still present. -Temperature: 101.8 F -Combo: FIV (+) Assessment: -Sarcoptic mange, improving -Residual URI -FIV (+) On 6/15: Staff confirmed that Spork has scabies and he received Bravecto.
