My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Thomas (Tom06661@live.com) for more information about this pet. This handsome kitty boy is our Slim Jim. Slim Jim was rescued from uptown Harrisburg (7th street). We believe he was dumped by someone and abandoned to a life on the street. His foster started feeding and caring for him and now he has been accepted into our foster program and is looking for his forever home!   We believe Slim Jim was raised around dogs before he was abandoned, he is what we call a 'cat dog' he has some tendencies of a young active dog or puppy, he is very playful and nippy when he plays like a puppy, he can sometimes play a little rough as well like a dog that doesn't know their own size or strength. Although he can play a little rough when you pick him up he absolutely MELTS into your arms and will bury his head in your shoulder and turn into a purr train. He will also crawl into your lap and plop down to nap for hours when he wants to.  He is a friendly cat, and he loves to play with toys and chase his toys around. He is quite a character and has a lot of energy. He is a fun cat to be around even if he plays a little rough. He loves being in a window and looking at birds and the outside. He can be highly active and playful but can also be a lazy sleepy boy who wants to nap all day. He loves to snuggle up on blankets and make biscuits and he will bite the blanket and hold onto it with his mouth while he makes biscuits, it is the cutest little habit.  Slim Jim Tolerates other cats and could potentially have a good relationship with other cats, he can also be a little defensive and aggressive with our other fosters like most cats that have spent a lot of time on the street, but we think he is just overly playful. We believe that with the right care, patience, and attention he could have a good relationship with other cats. He DOES NOT seem to like dogs so he would be best suited for a home without dogs.  Slim Jim is a sweet and playful cat on the inside and is looking for a second chance and a home where he can love and be loved, he's a young cat with a lot of love to give to the right family. If you are looking for a spunky quirky kitty boy to add to your family look no further!  Slim Jim is neutered, negative for FIV, Microchipped, and will be fully up to date on his vaccines on August 4th.  If you have any questions or would like to learn more about Slim Jim please feel free to reach out to his foster parents Tom & Gabby at Tom06661@Live.com If you are interested in applying to adopt Slim Jim please visit our website and submit an adoption application for him :) Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2025, 5:26 am
