My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- MOLLY IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR PET.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW. Jennyjennyschmidt@gmail.com Miss Molly-A Slightly Crazy Dog Seeking A Very Special Woman To Love Her Forever. Molly is not your ordinary dog. First she’s adorable, really adorable, if you like a medium-small scruffy bundle of terrier energy with massive snuggle power and a white beard.  Molly’s Attributes: *Smart. Super, super smart. She exudes intelligence. *Loyal. Molly currently lives on a farm. She runs all over the place but always comes home. She’s good with horses, She’s good at scaring rats, she is good with our cat, will eventually be good with goats and she’s not-so-good with chickens. But she loves hanging out with her person, and checks in often. She loves to snuggle. She loves being picked up so she can snuggle in her person’s arms. *Athletic. Molly would make a great agility dog if someone figured out how to get her to focus. She’s fast and and limber. She loves the way the world smells, especially in the woods or on a beach. *Loving. Molly, when she feels safe, is the sweetest girl. She’s had a huge absence of love in her life up till now. As a result, she soaks it up, especially when it’s delivered in the form of  belly rubs. *Female-centric. Molly really loves women (can you blame her?).  Molly’s Growth Areas *Molly is sneaky. She dashes off when she’s not on a leash. She hasn’t yet mastered “come” or “stay”.  *Molly can be fearful of men. She has been known to run up to men and bark aggressively. (Not biting or any real aggression, but she puts on a good show.) She also seems to get over her fear once she knows the man. It just takes patience. Molly has come to adore the men currently in her life, although at times she forgets that and does a tiny bit of barking at them.   *Molly can seem jealous of other dogs at times and make a big show of nasty barking but, again, it’s all show. She really likes dogs.*Molly can get quickly attached to her person and find it hard when they leave. If there are other dogs around, she’s usually okay, but alone she might get anxious (hard to say because in her current house she’s one of six dogs, but she has displayed anxiety when her favorite woman leaves the premises).  Molly grew up in a small Mexican town near Mexico city. She had a home once, but it wasn’t a good place and people were unkind. So she ran away (smart girl) and wound up in a shelter, where the intentions were good but the conditions awful. Still, when her home family retrieved her, she decided to run away again, back to the shelter. Molly figured bad was better than horrible. Then came the day when it was decided that all 90 of the dogs at this shelter should be euthanized because the woman who ran it had dementia. Luckily Molly managed one last escape- to the U-S -where she entered the U.S. foster dog system. She is now in a temporary foster home in New Hampshire. Her foster family loves her and lets her do things like snuggle on the couch or in their arms or with their elderly terrier. Her foster family is committed to finding her a forever home where she is greatly loved and where her human has the patience to give her some training and likes to go on long walks in cool places like the beach or the woods. If you are interested in adopting Molly, please contact  Jennyjennyschmidt@gmail.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 25, 2025, 2:26 am
