All Roads Lead to Rome – the Brave Little Shadow with a Big Heart!Rome may be the tiniest of the bunch, but don’t tell him that—he’s got the confidence of a king and the cuddles of a teddy bear. This sweet little boy absolutely lives for belly rubs and will happily flop over the second you sit down. He’s a total shadow pup, always following his people around and wanting to be wherever they are—and preferably in your lap! He loves being close and is happiest when snuggled up with his favorite human.Rome doesn’t let his small size hold him back—he’s curious, brave, and full of heart. Whether he’s trotting after his humans or curling up in your arms, Rome brings a gentle, loving presence that’s impossible to resist. Or as our foster’s daughter says, “He’s really sweet!”—and we couldn’t agree more.Rome and his 10 siblings were born on May 3, 2025, and rescued from a heartbreaking situation—starving, covered in fleas, and full of parasites on a property overwhelmed with dogs. Neither parent was on-site when they were found, so their breed mix remains a mystery—but their sweetness is undeniable.Now safe and thriving in a foster home in Fort Worth, Texas, Rome is looking for a forever family to help him continue growing with love, training, and care. He may be small, but he’s ready to fill your heart in a big way.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
