My story

What can we say, Goober is absolutely adorable! This medium-haired, orange tabby guy is approximately 7 years old and recently arrived at HART after being found as an intact male stray outside. Despite his slightly rough-and-tumble appearance and somewhat sad expression, he is actually a rather social, affectionate cat who likes getting attention and pets from people. He would love to have a chill home where he can bake in the sun for, say, 14-18 hours a day! While he is a very sweet cat, Goober also has a scrappy, protective side to his personality. He is sensitive to stressful situations, such as veterinarian exams or noisy commotion, and he can be reactive and even bite when upset. Because of this, Goober will need an adult-only home with cat-savvy people who have experience caring for cats with dynamic, “spicy” personalities.
