My story

Theo 19 MO 62 Pounds Crate & Leash Trained Kid Friendly 8 years and older Fostered in Puyallup, WA Hi, I’m Theo! I have a white coat with brown spots, like a Pinto, but I am most definitely a Boxer! My foster family picked me up from the shelter, I met them and jumped right in the car, no looking back. I was so happy to get out of there, I climbed in my foster mom's lap and snuggled her the whole ride. After exploring my new surroundings, I was able to meet my fur-roommates! I loved having playmates at first, but I like to be in charge and unfortunately so does my fur-roommate. I could have a buddy in my new home and would really like that, but I would need to be the one in charge. I never had toys of my own, so I want them all to myself! Like my newfound love of having my own toys, I also love my people so much that I’m not terribly fond of sharing their attention with my roommates. I’m working on all of my marketable skills like walking on leash without pulling. I have been learning the words drop it, treat, sit, leave it, go to bed or go to my crate. I’m working on down, come, and stay. My favorite game is fetch when my roommates are not around. I enjoy walks and running zoomies! I will even roll on my back for belly rubs! I greet everyone with a big friendly hello and wagging my tail. When my humans had a BBQ, everyone said I was such a good boy! I have enjoyed humans 8 years old to adults, but I have not been around smaller kids. I would love to find my forever-home with lots of love and patience, so I can continue to learn and grow, and build confidence. Although I can get along with other dogs, I would thrive as an only dog, so I can have all my toys and snuggles to myself. If you are looking to add a loving, well-mannered companion to your home, click my link so we can meet!  If you would like to adopt him, fill out an adoption application on our website www.nwboxerrescue.org Like us on facebook for more photos of this handsome boy, as well as other boxers we have available!  www.facebook.com/northwestboxerrescue June 24, 2025, 11:29 pm
