My story

Hi Everyone! I’m Teddy and am looking for my fur-ever home. According to the rescue, I’m about 2-3 years old and 20 pounds of pure handsomeness. I’m some sort of poodle mix. This means I hardly shed any hair! I get scared with loud sounds and meeting new people, but once I get to know you and my surroundings, I am so sweet and LOVE to cuddle, just like a teddy bear 🧸 I would prefer a family that has older children that will be patient and gentle with me as I can get startled with too much rough housing. Did I tell you that I am almost fully potty trained?!? I currently have a consistent feeding schedule and am let out several times a day to use the restroom. I can sleep through the night with ZERO accidents! I enjoy leisurely walks in the neighborhood, looking through the window during car rides, and taking naps with my legs up in the air while getting my belly rubbed. I also enjoy playing with water from the garden hose or a splash pad! It’s one of my all time favorite activities. I enjoy playing with dogs that have a playful and sweet personality, big or small! I do get intimidated by dogs that bark a lot or are too rough with me. It would be AMAZING to have a brother or sister to play with as I do not like to be left home alone. I also love playing with my toys - especially squeaky toys and balls. If I sound like a pup that you would like to meet, please fill out an interest form!
