My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! Meet Freedom! Just hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized, Freedom was rescued — and his name became a symbol of exactly what he was given: a second chance at life, love, and belonging. Now, he’s looking for a forever home where he can live out that freedom in peace, comfort, and companionship. Freedom is a 4-year-old lab mix with the cutest puppy dog eyes, a beautiful brindle coat, and paws as big as his heart. Freedom is a loyal dog with a a calm, gentle presence. He doesn’t ask for much—just a cozy place to nap, a hand to hold his face, and someone who will love him like he’s already part of the family. Freedom would do best in a home with kids older than 8, due to his size, Freedom tends to forget his size when asking for affectionate belly rubs.  Why Freedom is a dream dog:    •    A total cuddle bug who melts into your arms and wants to be your best friend  •    Leash and potty trained, and does well being left alone without needing a crate. He picks his favorite spots around the house and chills there when his owners are at home or gone.   •    Gentle and friendly with people, other dogs, and children   •    Loves to play fetch, go for long walks—or just a quick spin around the block  •    Spends most of his day lounging and relaxing; he’s the perfect calm companion A few quirks that come with the charm: •    He’s not a fan of the car and may bark through the ride—but he’s working on it! •    His back left leg can get stiff, especially after lots of running,  •    When excited for a walk, he may jump up to say “let’s go!” Freedom’s story is a powerful one, and he wears it with grace. He’s not just looking for a home—he’s looking for someone to share the beautiful life he almost lost. If you believe in second chances, in the quiet kind of love that builds day by day, Freedom is ready to meet you. If your interested in meeting Freedom, please click HERE to apply!  Freedom's adoption fee is $495, which includes his up-to-date vaccines, microchip, and neuter.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 31, 2025, 2:52 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Freedom, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
