My story

Hi my name is Kula. I am an opinionated love bug. I am an alpha cat. I am large (18lbs) and in charge. If you dont bother me I dont bother you (meaning other cats). I dont want to share a litter box so i prefer to be an only cat. I do like dogs. Big dogs are fine. I lived with one that was over 60lbs for a few years. I’m not really a lap cat. I am very curious. I want to know everything going on. I want to “talk” about it. I will be in your business. I love pets, right there behind my ears, under my chin, top of my tail, you get the idea. I also like to be brushed. I am long haired so it helps keep down hairballs. My foster mom says my fur is soooo soft. I am about 9-10 years old. FIV/FELV negative and up to date on everything. I was originally rescued from a hoarding situation in Florida. Then I found myself in a temporary home in Wilmington. Now I’m with A4C.   I am located in the Wilmington, NC area. Unless otherwise noted I can be met on Saturdays at one of our adoption events.
