I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:12Meet Balki! This 2-year-old, 80-lb Rottie mix is equal parts goofball and gentle giant. He’s got a love for toys (especially tossing the ball for himself—seriously, it’s adorable) and enjoys leaning in for pets once he’s comfy. Balki is still learning the ropes with leash walking and would thrive with a patient, experienced adopter who understands big dogs and can help him build confidence. He can be a little unsure in new situations, but he’s shown gentle social skills with other dogs and a playful, relaxed vibe once he settles in.
