Maggie is a bluetick coonhound from rural Virginia who is about to land at the local shelter - which often does not end well. Her owner cannot keep her due to health problems, and she's being kept tethered to a kennel due to running off several times. We will bring her up to Massachusetts for an interested adopter or committed foster. Maggie is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 60 lbs. She's a sweet and friendly girl who likes to be with her people. She's done well with all the dogs she's met, she will chase a cat but will not hurt one. Maggie is your typical rural coonhound who needs some training on a leash and secure containment, but she has potential to be a great pet. If you’d like to apply to adopt, please submit an application using the link below.
