My story

Haku was found as a stray and his owner never came to reclaim him. He is now once again available for adoption. Previous bio: HAKU - 1-5 years old, 60 pounds, nervous behind bars, friendlier outside Haku arrived at VBACAC as a stray, another one where you can comprehend how this beautiful big husky was not reclaimed. But he's here and ready to find a new home.  Haku has been reactive behind the cage bars but he is slowly warming up to us. You can't blame him for this. He is in unfamiliar territory in a shelter with people he does not know.  He's a working dog. He’s an active dog who would benefit from an active adopter. No children due to handling sensitivity. Do you have husky experience? Do your research before considering adoption.  Haku is proving to be a dog friendly boy who seems to enjoy our shelter playgroup with the other dogs.
