Maverick

My story

When you first meet Maverick, you might wonder why we named after a character famous for “going Mach 10 with his hair on fire”. Maverick is a very chill kitten, in fact. However, you won’t need to spend much time with him before you see him quirk his ears into what we call “airplane formation”, wings out. His ears are incredibly expressive! He was the shyest of his litter to start, but now is the first to curl up in a lap for some good quality snuggle time. Playful, curious, and incredibly gentle—he’s a very social kitten who likes everyone he meets (other cats and even dogs included). To put himself to sleep, he usually nuzzles his own belly, making biscuits in the air—self-soothing, built in! He is part of a trio of young kittens who were rescued from a hot attic at 4-weeks old. Mav is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, fully litter trained, easy-going about food, and ready for his forever family. He is very closely bonded to his brother Goose—in addition to playing together, they often nap together and like to groom each other. In fact, it’s hard to find one without the other right now. Ideally they would be adopted together.
