My story

Meet Echo & Shadow: Two Unbreakable Spirits, One Unforgettable Bond Echo and Shadow have already survived what no animal ever should — discovered sealed inside a box on the side of the road. Their story could have ended there, but instead, it became the beginning of something extraordinary. Echo is a striking tuxedo boy with a heart as bold as his name. Born with a condition called bilateral phthisis bulbi, Echo underwent surgery to have both eyes removed — but don’t think for a second that this slows him down. Echo is fearless, affectionate, and endlessly playful. He navigates his world with confidence, using his other senses like a little explorer on a grand adventure. Whether it’s chasing a crinkly toy or curling up for snuggles, Echo lives every moment to the fullest. He doesn’t need sight — he has heart. Shadow, his mostly white brother, is the calm to Echo’s spark. He’s been Echo’s protector, guide, and best friend since the very beginning. Shadow is gentle, sweet, and thoughtful, currently recovering from a mild upper respiratory infection and getting daily eye drops (Oculenis). His bond with Echo runs deep — where Echo leads with fearless joy, Shadow follows with quiet love. These two are inseparable. Shadow is Echo’s eyes; Echo is Shadow’s light. They ground each other. Heal each other. They deserve to grow up together in a loving home where their connection will be cherished — not broken. We’re reaching out in the hope that a compassionate rescue can step in and give these resilient boys the second chance they deserve. Their story is one of survival, but with your help, it can become one of triumph. Echo and Shadow are ready to rewrite their future — together. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This kitten is currently in a foster home.
