My story

Sophie`s foster mama says:`This stunning girl is so much fun! Her stunning coloring has the most unique pattern. She runs to play with any toy. She especially loves chasing a feather on a string, crinkly balls and soft puff balls. She will carry them around in her mouth and chase them all day long. She leaps in the air to jump at toys, she leaps to jump at a speck on the wall, she leaps sometimes just for the heck of it! She has the tiniest meow, and she LOVES meal time. Even though dry Iams kitten kibble (in the purple bag) was always available for her she loved hearing the wet food container opening (Iams soft kitten food) and she’d come running from her perch up high on the cat tree. She purrs loudly when you pet her and she loves attention. Very social kitten who comes running when she sees you. These kittens have been fostered since they were brought to the shelter at 5 weeks old. In foster, they have learned to love the family`s rather big dog (70 lbs) who thought she was the mother of the kittens. The dog would check on them several times a day to make sure they were all accounted for in case they needed some extra licking. This kitten would stand on her hind legs and wrap her little paws around the dog`s snout in greeting. The kittens also had frequent visits with young grandchildren to cuddle with them and play. We also made sure the kittens were used to the sound of the vacuum and other household noises. They all love their cat tree where they can nap in the sun and look out the window.Sophie is ready to go home with you today! Most kittens do better with another kitten/cat for company, and she would dearly love to go home with one of her litter-mates:58484633 Gray Female “Cinder”58484639 Gray Male “Ashes”58484639 Gray Tabby Male “Smokey”58484635 Brown Tabby with white feet Female “Ella”Please come adopt Sophie today! And please check out her litter mates and our other kittens!Did you know kittens do better together? It`s true! When kittens are raised together, they play, sleep and learn together. They look out for each other, and keep each other company while you are away. This makes taking care of them much easier for you, and results in happier, better adjusted cats with fewer behavior concerns overall. Plus, there`s twice as much love and fun waiting for you when you come home! If you have no other cats in your home, or even if you do, please consider taking home more than one k

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sophie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
