Meet Bernie! Bernie is a gentle soul looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished. Before arriving at SpokAnimal, Bernie suffered injuries that led to the removal of her right eye and front leg—but don’t let that fool you! This resilient girl gets around just fine and still manages to hop up on the couch for snuggles. In her foster home, Bernie has proven to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. She hasn’t quite learned how to play yet, but her foster parent is working on it—and she's slowly coming out of her shell. Her favorite thing? Curling up with her person and soaking in all the love and pets she can get. Bernie may have had a rough start, but her heart is full of love.
