My story

Meet Foxy Roxy! She is an extremely sweet and affectionate female Chihuahua mix. She’s probably mixed with yorkie or another type of terrier. She is roughly one year old and full grown at 7 pounds. Foxy Roxy always happy to see her people! She is not a barky girl, but she will whine for attention. She does take a little bit to warm up to strangers and then she’s their best friend. She absolutely loves playing with toys! She loves to run “zoomies” in the yard. And she loves playing with her four legged siblings. She has always been housed with small dogs. We’ve never seen her with big dogs or with cats or with kids. She is not house trained yet, but she’s working on it. She is also not leash trained yet, but her foster mom is working on it. She has excellent recall at her home and loves to come back inside with her foster family. It would be best if she went to a family with a fenced in yard, but it does not require required because she is good off leash once she is comfortable with the family and she may be good on a leash in another week or two. She has dry eye in her left eye and will need to have drops put in her eye twice daily for the rest of her life. It is easy to do – she does not object.
