My story

“A dog will teach you unconditional love." This reminds us of Star, who has so much love to give her new family. When your name is Star, you are very special, and this sweet dog is aptly named. She is two years old and weighs 41 pounds. Star is a loyal walking companion who absolutely loves being close by your side to explore the trails on our beautiful shelter grounds. She is so curious and interested in her surroundings. Once she is done, Star is ready to hang out with you to enjoy the day and lots of pets and quality cuddle time. She is so congenial and good natured. She loves to run and play in the fenced yard, and we enjoy watching her have such a good time. Star especially enjoys playing with her best shelter buddy Sadey.
