My story

Meet Dobby, a sweet and spirited young Shih Tzu looking for his forever home. This little guy was lovingly surrendered by his senior family, who, despite how much they adored him, found themselves tripping over his tiny frame too often. Dobby is full of life, with a playful personality and a heart as big as his adorable round eyes. He’s the perfect mix of cuddly and curious, always ready for a lap snuggle or a short stroll. Dobby would thrive in a home where he can be safely underfoot without worry—ideally with a family who understands small dogs and is ready to shower him with love, patience, and gentle guidance. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL! The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
