My story

MEET ELLIE-ROSE! This gorgeous panther lady was approximately two years old when she entered Kitty Devore foster care in January 2022 after a brief stay at Devore Animal Shelter. Ellie-Rose loves attention and prefers to have her humans spend all their free time cuddling and petting her. She tries to give them some leeway when it's time to work at the computer, but she just can't help herself... maybe climbing in their lap and kissing their ears will convince them their attention is misplaced? When the situation gets desperate, she resorts to doing the work herself so they have more free time - she has become quite the typist. While Ellie-Rose adores the two-legged creatures in her life, those emotions do not extend to the four-legged varieties. We've observed she would thrive best in a calm home where no other cats distract her humans from their one and only. It would be ideal if they are experienced with feline body language so they can accurately interpret her intentions when she's in a feisty mood.
