My story

Janet the tuxedo kitten is a bold, clever little firecracker with a personality as iconic as her namesake from Three’s Company. Just like Janet Wood, this feline Janet is sharp-witted, independent, and always ready to keep the household in order—especially when things get a little too silly. With her classic black-and-white tuxedo coat and expressive eyes, she’s got a look that says, “I know what I’m doing,” even when she’s batting a crumpled receipt across the floor with dramatic flair.Always observant and a touch sassy, Janet has a way of commanding attention without ever raising her voice—unless it’s mealtime. She’s affectionate on her own terms, loves a good chin scratch, and often acts like the level-headed one among her more rambunctious feline siblings. Much like her TV counterpart, Janet is the glue that holds the chaos together, balancing smarts with warmth, and always managing to steal the scene (and the softest spot on the couch).ADOPTION PACKAGE:Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit card, or money order.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
