Brodie sports a funky helmet hat to go with his goofy, happy-go-lucky pyrsonality. He’s an affectionate pup, loving to sit and get hugged and petted. Brodie is such a sweet boy who gets along with anyone and everyone - he has yet to meet anybody who he doesn't immediately befriend. After all, how can one pawssibly resist that face? These days, Brodie splits his time playing in the kiddie pool, playing with his toys, and working on basic cues. He is already crate trained, walks well on leash, and knows “sit” and “come”! He’s fine in the car, and sleeps through the night. Brodie enjoys spending time both indoors and outside, exploring and then taking a nap on his soft dog bed. In his furever home, he’s looking for a secure, 5-foot fenced yard, and another dog to play with and show him the ropes. This sweet boy is determined to be your furever best pal! So hurry up and submit your application to be his furever family! We are pawsitive that Brodie will thrive in a loving home with a generous dose of cuddling and belly rubs! National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. June 23, 2025, 11:13 am
