My story

This 3-year-old beauty is as sweet as they come, but she might need a little time to warm up to new faces. Kit Kat is shy at first, but once she’s comfortable, she’ll melt your heart with her gentle, affectionate nature. She's tolerant and patient, and she loves to chat with you once she feels at ease.Though she might prefer a quieter space to start, Kit Kat is a vocal little lady who will make sure you know when she’s ready for attention or snuggles. She’s looking for a kind, patient adopter who’ll give her the time and love she needs to blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be.For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
