My story

Say hello to Jetson, an irresistibly adorable yellow Labrador retriever mix with short, charming legs that hint at a touch of Corgi or Basset Hound in his background. At around 46 pounds, Jetson is the perfect medium-sized pup with a uniquely lovable look and a heart that is slowly learning to trust.Jetson is just over 1 year old and still figuring out the world. He is very shy and fearful of new people and new experiences. But beneath that nervous exterior is a gentle soul ready to blossom in a calm, loving home. Patience along with a calm, quiet environment will help Jetson adapt to family life.He is good with well-balanced dogs after a proper introduction. His behavior around cats is still unknown. He would not do well with children as Jetson needs a structured, calm home. Jetson is house-broken, crate, and leash trained. Although he is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can happen while adjusting to a new home environment.With lots of patience and kindness, Jetson is sure to come out of his shell and become a loyal, loving companion. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and want to give a sweet pup a second chance, Jetson just might be your perfect match.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.The adoption fee for Jetson is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
