My story

With her adorably chiseled features on such an expressive puppy face, Lotus really is as pretty as a flower! Lotus is 8 months old and weighs 50 lbs. She is super duper dog and people friendly, and even gets along ok with cats! Lotus is a super social butterfly with all humans and when introduced to other dogs, all she wants to do is play, and play, and play...and play. Therefore, she would do best with other younger dogs and no very young children that she can mow down in her exuberance (but sturdier kids ok). She is exuberant, but never aggressive and learning a bit more every day how to be a dog. She is a sweet soul understandably set to the highest energy level after being cooped up in a kennel for 23 hours a day at the shelter. She is so smart and motivated to learn and make you happy. She already knows sit, stay, paw, and show your belly! Lotus is a great dog and will make a wonderful companion. Sadly, Lotus has spent much of her young life in a shelter. Now, she is exploding into the world, but good news, you can do so in style as she absolutely loves car rides! Lotus is currently being fostered near Freehold, NY. Lotus is fully vetted, spayed, micro chipped, and ready to go home with YOU! If you can open your heart & home to dear Lotus, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Lotus at AmsterDog.org. Thanks for caring about a pet in need!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lotus, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
