My story

Diamond Girl – A Beautiful Soul Just Waiting to Shine    Sometimes, the most precious gems are found in the most unlikely places. That’s exactly the case with Diamond Girl, a 1-year-old purebred Australian Shepherd who was rescued from a small, rural shelter where time was running out. Quietly sitting in her kennel, unsure of what would come next, Diamond Girl had no idea her second chance was just around the corner.   At just 32 pounds, she’s a petite Aussie beauty with the softest fur, the brightest eyes, and a heart full of love. Her name couldn’t be more fitting—she’s truly a diamond in the rough. Now that she’s safe, we’re seeing her sweet personality blossom. She loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and her gentle demeanor makes her a joy to be around.   Diamond Girl is already kennel trained and nearly housebroken—she just needs regular potty breaks to stay on track. She walks well on a leash and is eager to please, like most Aussies. But make no mistake—this is a girl who needs room to run and a family who understands the mind and heart of a herding breed. A fenced yard would be ideal, and a home with someone who will give her the time, attention, and love she deserves will help her truly thrive.   Despite her rough start, Diamond Girl is still so trusting. She has a softness in her soul that’s hard to explain but easy to feel once you meet her. All she wants is to belong to someone—to be loved, to be seen, and to never be forgotten again.   If you're familiar with the Aussie breed or willing to learn, Diamond Girl could be your perfect match. She’s looking for a foster or forever home where she can continue to bloom into the incredible dog we already see in her.   &#226&#156&#168 If Diamond Girl’s story speaks to your heart, please reach out to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.Help us show her that she truly is as rare and wonderful as her name.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 22, 2025, 9:51 pm
