My story

Meet Bella Bear – a 6‑year‑old, 12‑pound Maltipoo with a gentle spirit, a loving heart, and a deep appreciation for cuddles, belly rubs, and cozy lounging. Bella Bear is diabetic and visually impaired due to cataracts, but she handles her care like a pro. She’s currently on Novolin‑N insulin (2 units twice a day) and eats Hill’s Prescription Multi‑Benefit w/d diabetic dog food. She takes her daily medicine and insulin injections with no issues at all—just one more way this sweet girl shows her easygoing nature. She’s friendly with other dogs, great with kids, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Bella loves lounging on the couch or curling up in a comfy dog bed, and she’ll never say no to a gentle snuggle or belly rub. She may not see the world clearly, but she feels love deeply—and gives it right back. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will thrive with a little support and a lot of love, Bella Bear is ready to steal your heart. Bella Bear is on 2 units of Novolin-N insulin 2x/day. Novolin-N can be bought over the counter at Walmart for $25 per vial (which lasts for 28 days) or you can buy a 5 pack of Novolin-N pens for $45 (each pen lasts a month). She eats a special prescription food called Hills Multi-Benefit w/d chicken which is approximately $50 every 8 weeks. Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
