Will the real Slim Shady … please get adopted? Slim Shady was found as a stray on 6/23/25 and his finder noted he was ‘ friendly, scared, playful’. Slim Shady has shown that with a slow approach, he warms up to new humans and is a loving boy. Slim Shady recently went on a day trip recently and enjoyed a trip to a pet store to pick out a treat! The volunteer noted that Slim Shady liked to explore the isles and snuggle in the car. The one thing he’s not a big fan of: sudden loud sounds. He ad full on puppy energy in the yard and was super friendly and social. He could be a bit timid but remained curious. Day trip with volunteer 6/25/25: I had Slim Shady out for a day trip today, and he was such a sweetie! He was very excited to hop into the car to begin our journey, but then very quickly settled down once he was in the cool AC. We did try walking outside for a bit so he could go to the bathroom, which he did after about ten minutes. He was perfectly happy to be back in the car and driving around town, either sleeping in his own seat or on my lap. We made a stop a pet store for a treat, and he was very excited to explore all of the aisles! He can be a little skittish at first, and unexpected noises (I dropped the water bottle) make him want to flee, but he will certainly become fast friends with everyone in his new home. If you are looking for a young dog with both a lot of energy and someone to cozy up with on the couch, the Real Slim Shady is your guy! Staff 6/25/25: Slim Shady was at the front of his crate with soft eyes but once he saw the leash pinned himself in the back. he let me reach in the with the leash with no reaction. once secured he came right out and pulled moderately. he was a bit nervous in the room but warmed up quickly with a baby voice. he jumped all over me with lots of puppy behavior. he is just a gentle dainty boy that needed a slower approach. when return i needed lots of leash pressure and moving him around to get him back into his kennel (would have been gold) Medical Notes ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
