My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:7Zeus is a 2-year-old, 53-pound husky mix with movie-star looks and a playful spirit. Friendly, well-mannered, and full of energy, Zeus is ready to find an active home where he can thrive. He recently joined volunteers for an outing to UC Berkeley and was a total champ. He met dozens of people, handled the busy scene with ease, and soaked up all the attention. He rides well in the car, walks nicely on leash (with a little excited pulling), and was calm even near a petting zoo full of animals. Volunteers describe him as sweet, sociable, and highly food motivated. He may not have all his commands down just yet, but he’s eager to learn (especially if treats are involved!). Zeus loves toys and could happily entertain himself for hours. With other dogs, he enjoys gentle-style play. Zeus might thrive with another well-matched pup in the home, but could also be content as your one and only. If you're looking for an energetic, affectionate buddy to join you on long walks, weekend adventures, and evening play sessions, Zeus is your guy.
