My story

Flieger is the kind of dog who makes everyone smile, and it takes no time to realize that he is the best kind of boy. A favorite during walk group, he’s a dream on leash with an adorable little trot that’s impossible not to love. He’s also earned the title of “prince of adoption events” because he sploots contently among the chaos and greets everyone politely. Yet somehow he is still waiting for his forever home. Calm, soft, gentle, and good-natured, Flieger is the perfect patio partner and would happily spend his days simply being with someone kind. He’s got a playful spark too—give him toys and he lights up like a puppy. In doggie play group he’s more of a polite wallflower than a party animal, preferring calm, easygoing friends. Truly, this petite little boy is a gem.All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm.
