My story

Meet Hilo! This 12-week-old male pup is bursting with personality. Friendly, playful, and delightfully silly, Hilo loves making people smile with his goofy antics and boundless energy. Whether he's chasing a toy, exploring new places, or rolling around in the grass, Hilo is always up for an adventure. He’s looking for a loving family who’s ready to enjoy all the fun (and snuggles) that come with raising a playful pup. Ready to add some joy to your life? Come meet Hilo at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center—he’s excited to meet you and start his next big adventure!For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
