Ruby

My story

Microchipped, DOB: May 5, 2019 Ruby is a fun, excitable, and charming little black cat who is always happy to play, explore, bask in the sun, or follow you around the house (especially to the food bowl). She brings a fun energy to any room she enters, happy to say hi to everyone, both with her sweet head butts and cute little squeaky meows. She can get a bit excited and nip when she wants to play, but it's usually very gentle. Ruby isn't much of a cuddler yet and will squirm quite adorably if picked up, but she is occasionally happy to curl up by her human's legs and have a snooze. Ruby's age is a bit of a question mark. Originally believed to be around 1 year old, she's since been estimated to be at least 6 years due to her required dental work. Ruby did have a few teeth removed but don't worry, that hasn't affected her ability or willingness to eat and she definitely has the attitude, energy, and size of a younger cat. Ruby seems good with other cats, but her excitable nature means she can maybe get on the nerves of cats that don't share the same zest for life. She would likely be happy in a home with additional cats, but they would ideally be able to love and appreciate her enthusiasm for life.
