My story

`It takes a village` is true when it comes to Siren and the community who saved her life. After she was abandoned, Siren wandered a local community being fed by many neighbors. She always came close enough to eat but never close enough to touch. One day, Siren started looking sickly and the neighbors knew they had to trap her to get her the medical treatment she needed. Once trapped and brought to Sarasota County Animal Services a call went out to local groups to help. St. Francis Animal of Rescue of Venice did not hesitate, and we took her into our care.True to her name, Siren had an alluring voice that begged for attention and good food as she started to heal. After weeks of medical treatment, she was brought to our adoption floor. Sweet Siren is looking for an inside home where she can live her life spoiled and loved. She is loveable, seeks attention and has even fallen for a younger man named Tigger. We would love to be able to tell the `village` who saved her that she is finally home.
