Longfellow

My story

Longfellow is an 8 year old, 71 lb Lab blend who was adopted from us as a young dog and recently found his way back to us when his adopter passed away. He is a fun, playful boy who loves to play in the water and will never decline a good game of fetch! He knows basic commands, such as "sit," and is a gentleman, when accepting his reward. He's an affectionate boy, who enjoys being near his human/s. He can be selective about his canine friends, so slow introductions work best. He's residing at the Adoption Center while he waits to meet his forever home.All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).
