My story

DOB 31-Mar-2025 Starling is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Starling is a fluffy black kitten with a heart as soft as his fur. Confident, and incredibly smart, Starling responds to his name, picks up new things quickly, and has a wonderful sense of boundaries for such a young kitten. He’s affectionate without being demanding, and has a peaceful presence that makes him a joy to be around. Starling loves quiet cuddles, cozy nap spots, and gentle playtime. He spends his days playing with his brother Magpie—chasing toys, darting through tunnels, or playing tag—before curling up together for a well-earned nap. He’s also the kind of kitten who will happily snuggle beside you while you read or watch TV, content just to be near you. Starling is not only a loving companion—he’s also a patient and encouraging brother to Magpie, showing him the ropes and leading by example. The two are a perfect pair, and Starling would love to be adopted with his favorite playmate and cuddle buddy. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to grow up with, Starling is ready to brighten your home with love, loyalty, and quiet joy.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Starling, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
