My story

Tinkerbell is a beautiful girl who turns heads wherever she goes! She loves nothing more than to be close to her people, always ready with a nuzzle or a happy tail wag!Reason for Foster: Awaiting specialty surgeryFoster Time Frame: 2-3 Weeks (The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Tinkerbell previously had a fracture in her right femur that has not healed correctly and our veterinary team has determined the best way forward is to amputate her leg. This will improve her quality of life as it will reduce any lingering discomfort that she may be experiencing and will allow Tink to adjust to making her way in the world on three legs. Tinkerbell will go home with meds to keep her comfortable and needs to have her activity limited while she awaits her specialty surgery. We will provide a medical consultation at your pickup appointment so you are ready to confidently care for this sweet girl! Foster to Adopt: Tinkerbell is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
