My story

Meet Kane! A gentle soul looking for a soft landing. This sweet 10 year old senior boy is blind, but that doesn’t stop him from wanting to be close—he’ll give you a soft bump just to know you’re there. Kane may not see the world the way we do, but he feels it with every wag of his tail and gentle nudge of his nose. He’s calm, kind, and easy to handle. Kane walks nicely on leash right by your side, and he’s a quiet, polite companion who simply wants a peaceful home to call his own. Once he gets to know you, he opens up in the most tender way. He’s also been great with new people and accepts affection with sweet manners. Kane would do best in a calm home with older kids (16+) who understand his needs. He may prefer being the only pet, as he had some trouble in a previous home with another dog who wasn’t kind to him. Kane may not chase balls, but he will fill your home with quiet love, trust, and gratitude.
