MAXIMUS IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!   Hello, my name is Maximus and I’m here to sweep you off your feet. I am a 4.5 year old black lab mix that weighs 86 pounds! I’m looking for my forever home and family to call my own! I’m an excited and happy dude, always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring the great outdoors, or learning new things, count me in! I’m super smart and a quick learner – especially if treats are involved. I’m not just about playtime; I’m a cuddler too! Belly rubs? Yes, please! I thrive on human attention and will happily sit in your lap – even if I’m a bit bigger than your average lap dog. I’m kennel trained and house trained. I love tugging with toys! I love running with other dogs of all sizes, but I am a big boy. I love kids so much that I may knock little ones down, I get very excited! I live in a foster home with cats, but don’t pay them no mind. I’m truly a dog that doesn’t meet a stranger. Max’s loving personality and irresistible charm will bring happiness to those lucky enough to have him in their lives. Maximus is sure to become a beloved member of a family for years to come. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations.
