My story

Meet Klinklang – a soft, sweet snugglebug with a tiny mew and a big heart.Klinklang is an 8-month-old domestic medium hair who was transferred to us through the Ames Animal Shelter’s Third Chance program, and she’s more than ready to make the most of hers.This low-energy girl has a gentle, quiet nature and is happiest when she’s curled up in a lap, snuggling with her person. She loves being held, enjoys cat grass and catnip, and has a tiny, delicate mew that she uses to ask for pets—or gently demand playtime. Her favorite toys? Bouncy balls she can chase, and anything she can bat around like the elegant goof she is.Klinklang is litterbox trained and would do well with a first-time pet owner. She’s been friendly with both men and women, though she can be a little shy at first with new faces. We’re still learning how she feels about children and dogs, but she’s shown she can get along with other cats.If you’re looking for a soft, playful companion who loves lap time as much as toy time, Klinklang might just be your perfect match.
