My story

Meet Honey Bee!This 1-year-old Labrador Retriever/ Pit Bull Terrier mix is as sweet and sensitive as her name suggests. Honey Bee is a shy girl who's still learning that the world can be a safe, loving place. The shelter environment is overwhelming for her, and she's understandably scared, but with time, patience, and a calm presence, she starts to open up.Once she trusts you, there's a quiet magic in her eyes that hints at the snuggly, loyal companion she's destined to become. We have a strong feeling that, in a home where she feels safe, she'll blossom into the kind of dog who loves nothing more than curling up beside her person.Honey Bee also seems to take comfort in other dogs. She enjoys quietly watching them through the fence and may thrive with a calm, confident canine sibling to help show her the ropes.She doesn't need muchâ&#194&#128¦just a gentle heart, a soft voice, and a little time. If you're someone who understands the beauty of earning a shy dog's trust, Honey Bee might be your perfect match. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
