My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Introducing Romi, she is an 8 year old magical girl with a heart full of love and a spirit full of playfulness. She's a sweet soul, always ready to share a tender moment with those she trusts. Romi is also fiercely independent, showing a smartness that shines through in her problem-solving abilities. She can be a bit shy at first, but this only adds to her charm. Once she warms up to you, her loyalty is unwavering. Although Romi had never visited Egypt, she practices the ancient art of being adored by humans. Her body is more than a temple; it’s a museum artifact that you can look at but not touch unless given permission. As with most museums, hushed tones and slow movements are much appreciated. To summon this fluffy antiquity from her hiding spaces, only sacrifices of the finest treats and feather toys are deemed acceptable. Romi’s curator must be dedicated to her maintenance and enjoy having just her to care for. She would love to be the queen of your heart. She is looking for a forever home where she can share her sweetness and playfulness. She's ready to be a loyal companion, a playful friend, and a source of joy. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treated and microchipped.
