My story

Honey is a sweet 13 year old senior girl who was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter with her sibling Scooter when her owner passed away. Her extended family could not keep these sweet babies. They are noted to be house trained and a bonded pair. They sit nicely for treats and take them gently. They would love to spend their golden days in a quiet cozy home instead of this loud shelter environment. Come meet them in kennel 805, her id is 11044. She’s all ready to go home as she’s already spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative! Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
